An original 'Ozalid' sleeve,a colour photographic process used for mocking up ideas prior to going to print,and having to make up plates.

The Ozalid photographic process,although cheaper than the cost of making up plates,was still very expensive.Gary had one done for each single,specifically for his own approval.

This sleeve is for the release of the second Radio 1 John Peel session that Tubeway Army recorded.

This is the original design for the first Tubeway Army album released in 1978.Issued only in a Gatefold sleeve,both sides come as two seperate sheets.

For comparison,a standard released sleeve has been placed on top to show the difference in colours with that of the original design.Also note,the small round 'Tubeway' logo on the bottom right of the light Blue original.

The above Replicas sleeve,which came with the accompanying acetate,contains technical info that could be used by the engineers for quality control purposes.It was also used to show potential clients the standard of the acetate they'd cut.

Complete with hand-written titles & logos,the details can clearly be seen in their un-finished state.

This Telekon proof sleeve, without the infamous Red stripes,also has the small text & Beggars Banquet logo missing from it,usually to be found on the left hand side at the bottom of the picture.The track-listing states 'I Die You Die' as well,found at the end of side one,instead of the more common track 'Sleep By Windows'.

This alternative sleeve design,also 'Stripeless',has the more common small text & logo added this time,found at the left of the picture at the bottom.They are in English,and an unusual Red colour,with a BEGA 19 catalogue number. The track-listing for side one,also has the more familiar 'Sleep By Windows' to end with.

This is the front & reverse of the 'Dance' album,released in a Gatefold format.

With the standard release on the left, the proof on the right clearly shows a different track order for side two,with 'Boys Like Me' and 'She's Got Claws' getting swapped around for the finished release.

This sleeve was for the album that was released in the mid '80's, and contained some of the very first demos of Gary's early career.

Another striking sleeve image here,this time for the 'Berserker' album. It was released on the TELDEC label for the German market in the mid '80s.

The sleeve comes complete with the German Test Pressing of the actual album,and also has this negative /plate included as well, used during the printing process of the sleeve.
